For four months each year our mountain villages grow exponentially as tens of thousands of people descend on Kosciuszko’s ranges to work and play.
We love the high country, and hope you will too. That’s why we write the Little Black Book: it’s a local guide, a survival guide, and our way of making sure your experience on the snow is a good one. It links winter staff, and visitors, to helpful information, local resources, and important support services.
The Little Black Book is here to help you out, and maybe make you laugh.
Welcome to winter. Thanks for joining us here on the snow!
Print copies of The Little Black Book that this site is based on are available from Visitor Information Centres (Jindy and Cooma), local real estate agents, doctor's surgeries, chemists, council officers, Snowy Mountains Backpackers and employers across the region. Or you can download a pdf of The Little Black Book (2mb download)
